The Istituto di Istruzione Superiore "Sebastiano Satta" has the following specializations: Finance, Marketing, Tourism, Mechanics, Electronics, Fashion Designs, Structural Engineering instruction. Our school, which is a state-owned Technical and Vocational secondary school, has 800 students between the ages of 14-18 and 100 teachers. In our education region, there are families affected by the economic crisis and social problems. Therefore our students have to face difficult situations in cultural, social and educational fields. The educational background of our students is very low and they don't have motivation. Since our region is economically and culturally underdeveloped and we are in the island of Sardinia, our communication with the outside world is weak. Our school and other schools in Sardinia have the highest rate of early school leaving in Italy. Therefore, under the leadership of local government, the program has started. Our teachers strive for our students to be tolerant, respectful, culturally and socially educated individuals. In our school, which provides vocational and technical education, our students gain the necessary practical skills in their profession and are successful in their lessons. A special program is implemented for them to be. All of our classrooms are equipped labs with smart boards and internet access. At our school, various international services are offered for students to be academically successful and to improve their foreign language skills. We strengthened our international corporate identity by participating in projects. Long-term cooperation with different European countries with the active participation of our teachers and students has carried out partnerships and international activities.
